Mp1 Reflection

Image
Photoshop has been a wonderful experience as of now. I've learned a lot of things that pertain to the texts, color, graphics, and more in a certain piece. In specific, I've learned how to make texts not look boring by implementing color, rotating letters, and things like excluding overlapping texts to add a little more of an effect to the boring texts it would otherwise be. In terms of color, I've been able to learn how to implement certain colors to certain parts and what may appeal to a viewer's eyes. For graphics, I've been able to make images stand out more by implementing layering effects and other cool features that make the main subject stand out above all else. I've done best with the text, which I've constantly done without any issues whereas the graphics I need some assistance from time to time. Overall, my mastery over photoshop has exponentially grown.

Multimedia essay

Multimedia seems to be a combination of photography with the art of editing. It’s able to enhance pictures in order to make them more presentable, interesting, digestible, and clearer. Most people in the modern era likely use multimedia for the purpose of entertainment and fascinating people with cool additions to the piece of work.      Photoshop is a great way of creating these edits to enhance since it gives access to a multitude of tools that each have a unique ability. Together all these abilities/tools are able to design new details into a piece. Aside from entertainment it could be used for assisting in fixing stuff. For example, if theres mistakes within a professional picture like someone photobombing an important piece, people are able to fix them through programs like photoshop to eliminate that detail from the piece. The tutorial has shown me the efficiency of these programs as it changed many details within that piece in just a few clicks ...

Project 3: Name wallpaper

Image
Firstly, I looked up the dimensions of my i phone 12 which was 2532 × 1170 pixels. Then I looked up nice backgrounds which I found one that appealed to me as it was nature related. Once I got these I put the image into my photoshop using a customized page with my iphone 12's dimensions. I wrote my name down vertically and converted it into shapes. Then I used free transformation to create overlapping areas within my name. Once these overlapped I excluded those same overlapping areas to show the background a little more as well.

Project 1: Selfie Collage

Image
I began with the snowboarding background picture, which I added some hue and a bit of saturation to completely change up the color of the background. For the white thing on the right side, I added brightness to it so that the light appears even greater than how it seems already. For the selfie, I removed the entire background so that it appears like I am there. For the cat, I also removed the entire background and added some hue and saturation onto it so that the cat appears differently. For the other picture of myself, I made it small along with the cat so they fit into the seats of the background and also added some more brightness and contrast.

project 2: Climate change poster

Image
For the picture I looked up, “Climate change” and found many results. I decided to choose one that would kind of add some fear into it while also showing the bright side of things. This picture was perfect for that cause. Additionally, to emphasize this distinguishing difference I added text to say that one side is with care and the other is without care to show how it’s our responsibility. In order for it to not be so bland, I added the impact font onto it and made it smaller so it “fits” into the overall poster. I continued using the impact font since it seemed to more exaggerate what I’m trying to push forward which is good for this case. I made it so that there are two different rows of words while saying a message. I made them size 48 to really make it meaningful and chose to write CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL. For the word climate, I made it individual letters and rotated them so that they’re not perfectly aligned. For change slanted the whole word and made them closer to each ...

project 4: Tyler the Creator poster

Image
First starters, I chose the image by looking for something trending that has a popular phrase. I chose Tyler the Creator's newest album as the center of it. Then I wrote the phrase "Do I Look Like Him"and split them up from opposite sides of the poster. I converted the words to shapes and overlapped them with free transformation where I overlapped and then excluded the overlapping areas. For the layering itself, I selected my subject, which was Tyler the Creator. Then I filled it in and added a layer to it. Once it was put, I changed the color to blue with the overlaying and an opacity of 80%. I did the same thing for the red layer in order to create the purple overall layering and the back coloring.
