Module 7 project

 


Destructive tools: eraser tool, paint brush, crop tool, blur tools, adjusting all alter the original image data.
Nondestructive tools: layer masks, adjustment layers, smart objects preserve the original image data.
Destructive tools alter the original image data which is irreversible once saved and cause permanent change for the most part. Nondestructive tools preserve the original image data and is very reversible regardless of saving or not which allow it flexibility and being tweaked whenever.

Mp1 Reflection

  Photoshop has been a wonderful experience as of now. I've learned a lot of things that pertain to the texts, color, graphics, and more in a certain piece. In specific, I've learned how to make texts not look boring by implementing color, rotating letters, and things like excluding overlapping texts to add a little more of an effect to the boring texts it would otherwise be. In terms of color, I've been able to learn how to implement certain colors to certain parts and what may appeal to a viewer's eyes. For graphics, I've been able to make images stand out more by implementing layering effects and other cool features that make the main subject stand out above all else. I've done best with the text, which I've constantly done without any issues whereas the graphics I need some assistance from time to time. Overall, my mastery over photoshop has exponentially grown.

Project 3: Name wallpaper

  Firstly, I looked up the dimensions of my i phone 12 which was 2532 × 1170 pixels. Then I looked up nice backgrounds which I found one that appealed to me as it was nature related. Once I got these I put the image into my photoshop using a customized page with my iphone 12's dimensions. I wrote my name down vertically and converted it into shapes. Then I used free transformation to create overlapping areas within my name. Once these overlapped I excluded those same overlapping areas to show the background a little more as well.
